Only professionals who pass these checks appear on the platform. The results show on each profile.
What we check for everyone
- Identity and right to work in Portugal
- Tax number (NIF) with an open business activity
- Valid civil liability insurance
- Criminal record certificate
- Qualifications and experience
- Languages they work in
- A phone call with our team
What we check depending on the service
- Renovations: an IMPIC certificate or licence (alvará), with the number checked on the public register
- Electrical installations: registration with the DGEG
- Businesses with employees: workers' accident insurance
Expiry
We keep expiry dates on file. When insurance or a certificate expires, the professional stops receiving requests for services that need it until they renew.
What verification doesn't guarantee
Verification confirms documents and identity. It doesn't replace the agreement, your approval of the work or reviews from previous customers, which you should read before choosing.
